The Chateau is approached by a long private drive through its own woodlands leading to impressive wrought iron gates and thereafter sweeps around the gardens to the chateau itself. The peace, tranquillity and calm of the countryside without the intrusions of modern day life is only enhanced by the fields of sunflowers in the summer months. The Chateau also has fantastic wildflowers planted around the front garden.
Outside Living
Commanding a hilltop position there are glorious and far reaching views in all directions including the snow- capped Pyrenees. The gardens include a heated swimming pool with terraces and pool house, an English style formal rose garden, herbaceous borders, lavender parterre gardens, sweeping lawns, specimen trees, ponds, fountains and numerous attractive terraces for dining and lounging.
The 12m x 6m heated pool is set within a walled ruin, with pool side dining and views for miles. There are numerous terraces including a covered dining terrace which is ideal for long lazy evenings and this opens out from the Kitchen into a very pretty and private courtyard area.

Sunday Times Top 10 Holidays to France 2013
On Saturday, 27 Jul 2013
As featured in THE SUNDAY TIMES TOP 10 HOLIDAYS TO FRANCE 2013 - It’s impossible not to smile in the Gers. At the heart of Gascony, this land is green and gentle, with hills, rivers, Armagnac, ducks, arcaded village squares and solid people ambling a couple of hours behind mainstream France. Given the feudal feel, a chateau fits the frame. Few are more sumptuous than this Chateau, near Condom, which sleeps 13. Surrounded by 42 acres, it’s the sort of place ordinary mortals pay to look round, not stay in.

A fairytale castle set in stunning hillsides
- just amazing ! Easy to get to from
Toulouse, The Chateau was a perfect home base for
exploring the surrounding quaint villages offering the finest in
local Gascony food and wine. Sipping Armagnac at sunset and dining by
candlelight on one of the many terraces made us feel like royalty !
