This is a really beautiful country mansion in large grounds with a stunning swimming pool. Big, light filled and very comfortable bedrooms all with immaculate and modern ensuite bathrooms with great water pressure. The living spaces are classic and tastefully furnished with period correct French antiques with some contemporary twists. Set in a peaceful hamlet surrounded by forests and vineyards and next to the Dordogne river, the Manoir is the perfect spot from which to explore the region or just relax in style in the French summer sun.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Manoir. The location is excellent for day trips in the Dordogne region, including canoeing on the Dordogne river, wandering around Saint Emillion or day trips to Bordeaux and the Atlantic coast around Arcachon. If you don’t want to venture out, there is plenty to do onsite, from the lovely swimming pool to table tennis, bar with dart board, petanque and the pool room The Manoir is even prettier than the photos suggest: the rooms (or in our case rooms as we stayed on the top floor), shared living areas on the ground floor, the brand new state of the art kitchen and the garden and pool are all beautiful and immaculately presented.

The whole place was gorgeous, spotlessly clean and the beds are so comfy. Everything about this place oozes French charm and sophistication, it is a stunning building both inside and out. Outside in a delightful setting in the gravelled courtyard near the stunning pool is a beautiful place for alfresco dining at a large table - it was perfect! Would definitely recommend the Manoir to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in this part of France!!!
