Accommodation

The Chateau offers accommodation for up to 20 guests plus 2 cots. The large Living Room and Dining Room is elegant and spacious with a large dining table, TV with satellite channels, Wi-Fi internet, wood burning stove and a baby grand piano. There are doors to the terrace overlooking the gardens and pool. The kitchen is well equipped and also has doors out to the terrace. There is also a Utility Room and Wine Cave. In addition there is a large Games Hall and a separate Gym with treadmill, cycles, rower, x-trainer, a selection of resistance machines and free weights.

There is one bedroom on the ground floor, four bedrooms on the first floor and then four bedrooms on the second floor.

Ground Floor

Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom on the Ground floor and is set in the tower. It has an en-suite shower room.

First Floor

Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom set in the tower.
Bedroom 3 is a double bedroom. It has an en-suite bathroom.
Bedroom 4 is a double bedroom.
Bedroom 5 is a double bedroom with an additional single bed. It has an en-suite shower room.
There is a separate family bathroom to be shared between Bedrooms 2 and 4.

Second Floor

Bedroom 6 is a double bedroom ( 2 single beds) and has an ensuite shower room.
Bedroom 7 and Bedroom 8 is a family suite which has a double bedroom ( 2 single beds) with an ensuite shower room which connects with Bedroom 8 that has a large round double bed.
Bedroom 9 is a double bedroom.
Bedroom 10 is a double bedroom.
There is a separate family shower room for Bedroom 9 and 10.

Outdoor Living

Set in over 50 acres of private grounds, the Chateau is surrounded by beautiful lawns and woodland providing complete privacy. The large 10m x 6m (approx as L shaped) pool has a terraced surround with many sun recliners as well as a jacuzzi. There is also a large shaded terrace which connects the kitchen and has outside dining tables and chairs. The Swimming Pool is in a gated area and is alarmed for security. There is a coal BBQ. There is also an enormous Games Hall for guest use. As you enter the games hall, you enter the gym area with all the cardio equipment (running machines, rowing machines, bikes and cross trainers). You then enter the main sports hall where all the weight resistance machines are, plus free weights and a boxing punch bag. In the main hall, there is also a pool table, table tennis table, darts, two table football tables and bicycles for clients of all sizes. Plus footballs to use on the five a side football pitch. If that was not enough, the Chateau also has a Target 6 hole Golf Course.In addition there is are two table tennis tables, pool table, two table football games, dart board and a selection of bicycles for both adults and children.

The Chateau use a great local chef who is very popular with guests and can also offer a wine tasting evening.

Please note that the Chateau owners live on site in completely separate accommodation which doesn't overlook the Chateau or the pool, although there to help if required, complete privacy is given to the guests and the property is yours to enjoy as you will.

Please enquire for further details about wedding packages. Weddings at the Chateau can be arranged in the shoulder seasons of April/May and September/October.

Local Area

If you can drag yourself away from all the activities the Chateau has to offer, the local area is an absolute treat to visit. Close to the Chateau are the beautiful villages of Luzech, Sauzet and Prayssac all of which offer shops, boulangeries, restaurants and bars as well as weekly markets and special events throughout the year. Cahors is a 20 minute drive away from the Chateau and is larger with pretty riverside restaurants and cafes.

The area is well known for gastronomy and there are many many restaurants from Michelin star to local €15 menu du jour. The weekly markets are full of the local specialities such as duck, foie gras, truffles, walnuts to mention just a few. You will also be able to explore the local chateau vineyards and enjoy the tastings they offer. It is also an area full of sporting activities with canoeing, cycling, air-ballooning, riding.

Getting Here

The Chateau is a 1hr 30 minute drive north of Toulouse Airport which is a large International Airport with flights to 22 countries and many throughout the year from the United Kingdom. The airlines that use Toulouse from the UK are British Airways, Ryanair and EasyJet and there are flights from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted Bristol, Birmingham, Dublin and Edinburgh. There is also a direct flight from Montreal as well as many European destinations.

We stayed here as a group of 5 families in August 2023. The chateau is lovely, and having rented many similar properties in previous years, this is one of the best we've stayed in. The house itself is well equipped, the pool is beautiful and the location and grounds are lovely. Highly recommend.

My family and I have just returned from this chateau, where we had a fabulous holiday. We were a party of 17, in ages from 2 to 79, and everyone had a marvellous time.
