This gorgeous farmhouse is set in a quiet hamlet overlooking vines and has a beautiful and well established garden with large covered terrace and with the swimming pool set below. The accommodation is ideal for family groups or groups of friends with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. In addition there is a small snug with a sofa bed, ideal for teens.


The living area is spacious and open plan with a double height ceiling and wonderful wooden beams. There is a large dining area which seats 8 easily and a living area with large sofas and a flat screen TV. There is also a study area. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need for your holiday stay. There is also an additional pantry/utility room.

There is one bedroom with en-suite just off the living area and then the other 3 additional bedrooms are set up small set of stairs with the second bath and shower room.

On the First Floor;

Bedroom 1 is a king size bedroom with an en-suite shower room
Bedroom 2 is a king size bedroom
Bedroom 3 is a king size bedroom
Bedroom 4 is a king size bedroom

Bedroom 2, 3 and 4 share the large family bathroom which has a large roll top bath and large walk in shower. There is a seperate WC.

Outdoor Living

The Farmhouse has been designed to really make the most of outdoor living with a fantastic covered terrace that opens up from the living area and runs the whole length of the house. At one end of the terrace is the dining area and then the remainder of the terrace has comfy seating. The terrace overlooks the landscaped garden and the 8m x 4m swimming pool. There are additional small terraces around the property as well as a lawned area for ball games. There is a large coal BBQ for guest use. There is also a table tennis table. Around the pool area there are 8 recliners and plenty of terracing.
Local Area

The Farmhouse is set in the quiet countryside of the Dordogne but is a short drive to Saint Foy La Grande which is a Dordogne riverside town with shops, bars, restaurants and many special events going on throughout the summer. There are daily morning markets throughout the area as well as evening markets throughout the summer. The property is in an ideal location on the borders of the Dordogne to explore this beautiful area of South West France with many medieval bastide villages close by such as Eymet, Issigeac, Castillonnes, Monflanquin and Monpazier. The Dordogne river-side town of Bergerac is just a 35 minute drive away and the vineyards of St Emilion are only a 45 minute drive away. Both places a must to visit! Chateau Vigiers with its 18 hole championship golf course, Spa and two restaurants including a Michelin star restaurant is a 5 minute drive from the property

Getting Here

The Farmhouse is ideally positioned between 3 International Airports making it an easy final destination. The International Airport of Bergerac is just under 35 minutes away. Ryanair flies here from London Stansted, Liverpool, Nottingham, and Bristol. British Airways has flights from London City and Southampton. Jet2 also has flights. The vibrant city of Bordeaux is 1hr away, with a larger International Airport servicing over 95 UK and Worldwide destinations. In addition, Toulouse Airport is approximately 1hr 45 mins drive to the south - again a large International Airport

Beautiful farmhouse, had a relaxing family holiday, well equipped, comfortable beds, great showers. Shopping and restaurants only a short drive away and Michelle and Steve easily contactable to deal with any queries.
