The property is lovely and quiet; surrounded by vineyards. The pool area absolutely stunning - perfect for the kids (4 & 6 Y.o) and adults alike either lounging, playing cards or swimming, with ready access to an air-conditioned wine tasting room/ lounge and gym area. Perfect to be able to escape from the 40 degree heat; but also brilliant facilities. We used the gym most days and found the equipment high quality and varied. We also had a wine tasting with Remy, recommended by Dan, the Chateau's very generous and kind owner. We sat under the trees each night in the outside sitting area - using the BBQ twice; alongside the outside bar area, perfect for watching the sun set. We had Alex come one night to cook for us; again recommended by Dan. He was very obliging and we had a lovely meal. The rooms were spacious and comfortable - the lounge room great for some evening Netflix and tea! Kitchen and utility perfect for our larger group with ample space and all details thought through. The recommended supermarkets and boulangerie fit the bill - and meant we could settle in and really enjoy the house and its amenities. St Emilion not too far away by car, and had a meal there one night & a lovely afternoon wandering its beautiful cobbled streets (and some Amazing Basil Gelato!!) Thank you Dan! You have something very special.

The Chateau far exceeded all our expectations! It is a wonderful house. Superbly equipped, very comfortable and beautifully maintained. The pool and outdoor games provided hours of entertainment for all the members of our group. The games room was a particular highlight for the younger members. I highly recommend this property it was a delight to spend time there.The owner and his agent were also helpful and ensured that everything was running smoothly. All in all an excellent experience.

We had the pleasure of staying here during the summer and what a fantastic place. From the outset the owner was extremely helpful, taking time to provide personalised recommendations for our stay. The Chateau is stunning and has everything you could think of, from the table tennis table, outdoor bbq area, pool and gym facilities, to name a few. Only a short hour from Bergerac airport – a perfect location, with St.Emilion and Castillon both nearby. I would highly recommend and the only downside to our stay was that we couldn’t stay longer!
